As part of a seven-video animated series for the Wabano Centre, this second instalment focuses on the Migizi Dodem (Eagle Clan). Our goal was to present the teachings of the Migizi Dodem in a visually captivating way for children, making the cultural lessons engaging and accessible.
In this project, I combined 2D and 3D animation techniques to make the characters come to life. First, I carefully drew each frame of the animation by hand to make sure the movements looked smooth and had personality. Then, I used After Effects to add special effects to make the characters look even cooler. By mixing in 3D elements, I made the story feel more real and exciting, making it easier for viewers to get into the world of the Migizi Dodem. Overall, I wanted to create a fun and engaging video that kids would love watching.
