I'm a redheaded, curly-haired girl who's been crafting pen strokes and pixels all my life, but professionally for the past four years. My work keeps me learning, evolving, and creating visual narratives that bring my clients' stories to life.
Driven by curiosity, I constantly ask questions about the unknown and focus on the "why." This approach helps me view client projects from all angles, ensuring the best possible outcomes.
I have been making claymation and stop-motion shorts since I was 8 years old. Back then, I had no idea jobs existed for me. My only knowledge of the animation world was that I loved bringing unanimated objects to life to tell stories.
Following high school, I had the opportunity to work as a model full-time. Modeling has allowed me to live in Japan, Milan and New York. During this time I got to work with many brands including: Nordstrom, Nikon, St. Vital Mall in Winnipeg, Coca Cola, Tristan, Sentlar, Blue Notes and many more.
As a result of these experiences, I developed an appreciation for design and story telling, which led me to apply to Algonquin College in Ottawa for their Graphic Media & Design program. During our program, we thankfully got to spend two-years of our program focusing in on Motion Design. This is where I re-found my love for animating and bringing life to unanimated objects.
My motion work has evolved over time as I've incorporated new experiences and tools from other artistic avenues. My career has been blessed by learning from other illustrators, frame-by-frame animators, and other incredibly talented individuals.
