An animation to practice story telling and to try a new style.
Here is an animation that I made based on a recording of my mother telling me about a childhood memory she had that she would like to share with you. I created a visual style reminiscent of the scratchiness of the audio in order to mimic the scratchiness of the audio. To achieve this, I used a collage style that was both vintage and eclectic to achieve the look I wanted. I also incorporated different textures and patterns that matched the audio. As a final touch, I adjusted the colors to create a warm and inviting atmosphere, but instead of focusing on greyscale, I brought in a vintage warm sepia tone in colours to enhance the animation.
